GUYS PLEASE NOTE THE THREE OF US HAVE UPDATED QUITE A LOT IN THE LAST WEEK OR SO, PLEASE DO CHECK OUT ALL OUR ENTRIES C:
It was really awesome, since we went to different schools and so can't see each other as often as before.(>A<) Yeahhhh. Sad. Ruki, Riiko, Amanda and I met at Bugis first and Riiyuki and Sotong joined us later. We ate Yoshinoya student meals for brunch and checked out a couple stores like Artbox before we met Riiyuki at the neoprint shop. Neoprints round #1 START! Then, we chcked out the new Uniqlo @ Bugis+ (the old illuma). They had some pretty awesome opening day sales, like jeans going at SGD$20 and SGD$4.90 tank tops! Not sure how long it goes on for though, sorry guys... Sotong caught up with us after and we went for neoprints round #2 \(*O*)/ We headed to J.Co for some snacks and to chillax and talk, and overall just
HAD TRUCKLOADS OF FUNNNNN~~

NOW MOVING ON TO THE HAPPY PICTURES!

Co-ords for the day! "Holey" top layered over midi dress
The theme for the outing was "your style", which for me means
 a. Hole-y stuff
b. Layering
c. Cinch in the waist (big belts, etc.)

OTW to bugis! I was late /: Gomen ne, Riiko!
[low, bad camera angle, hence fat face, BLEH]

L-R: Amanda, Riiko, Ruki, Riiyuki, Sotong (Joy), Ruka

Somehow, our post-neoprint/camwhore session snack time became...
play-with-eyeliner time WAHAHAHA

Diamond Lash ~Green Tray~

Hello everyone!
It's RUKI here~
Today I'm here to post the review I promised, so here we go:

When i was in Japan, I was pleasantly surprised to find the new range of Diamond Lash lashes available at a popular discount store, Donki. The green tray range, リトルウィンクシリーズ(Little Wink Series), is a collection of natural looking lashes that is ever-so-slightly similar to Dolly Wink's Otona series. As the trays hung prettily on the rack, I couldn't help but grab a couple of them to try.(´∀`)
So, today's review would be on one of the lashes from the green tray series~

シークレット Eye (Secret Eye)
This set of lashes seems somewhat similar to Dolly Wink's Otona series in terms of length and volume, both of which these lashes do not have much of, which makes them perfect for school or work~ ヾ(´^ω^)ノ♪
The length of the lashes at the inner corners are perfect for me as they are not too long. the lashes graduate towards the ends where it emphasise on the length and volume which would help achieve the "Cat eye" look. The spine is wonderfully soft, but not too soft that it makes the lashes hard to apply, and transparent so that it will look more natural when applied. The fibres are not to dark like some lashes, which would further make the lashes seem more natural.(≧▽≦)They are also arrange in such way that the fibres extend from the spine in a "V" shape that makes the strands seem less uniformed and more natural-looking.
Overall, these as the most natural lashes i own! But they are fast becoming my favourite as they don't look too dramatic with light make-up and provide just enough length and volume to make your eye "pop". The lashes are also very easy to apply with the flexible spine. These are great for days where you want to dress up a little without going over the top~
Here are a few pictures of me wearing the lashes before i went to meet up with the other Kagayamis (´・ω・`):

Sorry for the blur picture... i was kinda in a rush ><
here's a better picture but the lighting is kinda wonky O_o
*closed eyes

first camwhore picture in awhile! xDD
yes...I have short fingers... D;
and here's the liz lisa dress i wore for the outing ♥
Packaging : 7/10 (kinda plain but it serves its purpose. Love the colour though!)
Value : 8.5/10 (Pretty cheap compared to other brands like Dolly Wink)
Length : 6.5/10 (only long at the outer ends, but i think the length is perfect!)
Volume : 5/10 (hardly any volume, but its great for the natural look!)
Overall satisfaction : 8.5 (would definately buy again, but i think its only available in japan at the moment D;)
So, that's the end of my review~~~ see 'ya guys soon ♥

P.S: i can't resist posting another picture of yama-chan...

Reunion Outing

Hello!
We had a reunion outing to catch up with one another today because we are all in different schools now.
We had a yummy lunch at YOSHINOYA @ Bugis Junction and I ordered a salmon bowl while Ruki and Ruka ordered beef bowls. The student meal was quite worth it as it was $4.90 and came with a drink.
Ruka and Ruki
After lunch, we walked around Bugis Junction for awhile before going to take Neoprints. We tried the new machine today and it was quite stressful to squeeze into the small booth. ( Three more friends joined us ) The new machine had pretty neat features like the option to make you look slimmer by making you 'longer' and themed decorations to suit different types of outings/events. However, the neoprints turned out quite yellow. Maybe it was an option we pressed.
We choose the 'Girl's Day Out' theme to decorate our neoprints. :}

After neoprints, we took some photos in the booth, trying to copy the expressions of the models. Hahas!
Here are some of the photos we took:

We went to Illuma after taking photos to see the new UNIQLO outlet which opened today.
It was really crowded with a long queue to the changing rooms. I think the most impressive part of the sale was the jeans which only cost $20 . UNIQLO jeans for $20 was an amazing bargain and thus, Ruki went home today owning a new pair of olive colored jeans.
While Ruka and Ruki walked around in UNIQLO, I went upstairs to visit the other shops like this casual Japanese boutique on level 3. I cannot remember the exact name of the shop, but it was just next to the escalator.

I found an amazing blue vest there with a light blue stripped hood. The zipper was pretty unique as it was in the form of a keyring. I would have bought the vest if it was not so expensive. ( The vest cost $89.90 ) D:

We went back to Illuma after completing our shopping and went to sit down and chat at the food area in the basement level. It was really fun talking to everyone after so many months. I am glad that we could meet up despite our busy and very different schedules.
I hope that we can have another outing soon !

Great Singapore SAAAAALE (/*W*)/

HEY CHICKIES, HOW Y'ALL DOIN? C:

I'm feelin super psyched and all happy-ed up 'cos...
a. JUNE HOLS!
b. Great Singapore SALE!! AAAAAAAAAAAAH! \\(>O<)//

YUP. So hopefully, more posts for you guys, and more hopping for everyone! ;D
Anyhow, as a sort of link to the GSS, I'm gonna post about stuff I got at Jurong Point today!
(actually, just 30min ago, haha).

LOOK!
kay so... clockwise from left:
Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Black #01
K-Palette 24H Real Lating Eyeliner WP [Super Black]
Voce Noda Accessories brush
Colour Combos Accessories nail file

I got everything except the Heroine Make eyeliner from Sasa! The Heroine Make is from Watsons(:

Currently, both these stores are having pretty awesome sales!! The K-Palette liner is originally SGD$19.90 but is on 20% sale in Watsons and Sasa, so now it's ~SGD$15.90! -GASP- Super awesome right?? Unfortunately, Heroine Make (SGD$18.90) and Dolly Wink do not have the same discount -sigh- But oh wellll...

I will be doing a comparative, 2-in-1 review of both these eyeliners soon. Ruki has already done one on the Dolly Wink liquid liner and K-Palette in black. To make it easier for you guys to gauge amongst these four liners, I'll be doing my review in a similar style. You can see her review here if you want (^v^)

Watsons is having a pretty awesome sale, with quite a lot of items on sale, so do check it out asap if you can! If you wait, all the good stuff will be snapped up (>A<) Like today, the K-Palette eyeliners, both [Black] and [Super Black], and the Dolly Wink liquid liners were gone. GONE. So hurry guys!

At Sasa, they also have a sale (called Pretty in Pink, I think) and there's quite a lot of good buys too! Sorry, I couldn't find a picture of the promotional poster, my bad... The K-Palette had 20% off in both stores, so you can go to either one, I suppose. Or just go to both and buy more, WAHAHAHA >;{>

So now, I just wanna blog about the brush I got. It was really cheap, only SGD$5.90 at Sasa, and the brush is pretty soft to the touch. Its also pretty dense, especially considering the relatively low price. I really like the design of it, as it ensures that the bristles are not caught when you cap it. The cap and size also make it pretty handy to tote around :3

So, onward to the pictures!!!!

The packaging is pretty neat! It's like zip lock bags(:

 To keep:
#1 Slide up the movable cannister thingy
(this keeps all the bristles nicely together!)

#2 Cap it down

#3 Press to "lock" it
(now, the bristles are in the cap, but none of them are caught, bent, etc.
Cool, eh? That's why I like the design 0f it)

Size comparison to my hand ;D

There are a lot of brushes recentl with the same cap design. If you want to bring a brush around, I would recommend these types for good storage (not necessarily this brush exactly). I think that it keeps the bristles clean cos of the cap, and it also makes sure that they are not bent out of shape in your pouch. The moveable cannister also prevents bristles from getting caught in the cap. AND, it's fun to play with XD haha so yeah.

LOOK OUT FOR THE LINER REVIEWS SOON!

Back! ヾ(^∇^)

HELLO !

Ruki here! I'm back from a loooooong, unannounced hiatus~! eheheheh...
Sorry for being a bad blogger and not updating the blog... m(_ _)m

Well, today I'm gonna type a short post of my not-so-recent trip to Japan~
I'll post more details of my trip in the future as I review the items i bought (●´∀`●)
Here we go ~

I left for Japan on the 25th of March. My flight was at 5.30 in the morning, but i was unable to fall asleep in the plane as I was practically bursting with excitement!(*´∀`*)
After about 2 hours of listening to random music on the plane, I looked out of the window and was greeted by the beautiful sunrise

my first glimpse of Japan!
About another 4 hours later, I was off the plane~ My mum collected our "Rail Pass" and we're off to our hotel in Shinagawa. We hopped onto the first Narita Express* (can't remember the name of the train, but i think its the Narita Express) and it was another hour of boredom for me. Luckily, i had my Pokemon game to keep me occupied.
O(≧∇≦)O

sorry for the slanted pictures... i can't seem to rotate it the right way...
When we arrived at Shinagawa, my mum and i decided to leave our lugagge in our hotel room and explore the area. After popping by a few shops, we bought dinner at a nearby supermarket located in a department store. The food was delicious! I had an assortment of sushi, some black-sugar-mochi-thing (it melts in your mouth!) and potato salad~ my mum had a bento which had really yummy rice♥ We also had croquette(☆^O^☆)
i had forgotten to take a picture before we ate ><
the black thing on my tuna is a huge bean my mum found in her bento. look at the size of it!

the mochi-thing ;D
my mum also bought some strawberries
That concludes Day #1 of my stay in Japan~
I'll continue in my future posts, but im gonna write a review next so look out for it! (^▽^)
Until next time... (。・ω・)ノ゙
